OVERVIEW

Banks Geoscience Limited (previously Banks Consulting Limited) was formed in 1992 to provide high quality geological and geophysical consultancy services to oil companies, governments, banks and universities. The directors, Nigel and Fay Banks, have a combined total of more than 50 years experience in the upstream petroleum business and they have both worked for major oil companies and as consultants.

The business operates from a former farmhouse on the outskirts of Oxford, England. This provides spacious, high quality, secure and well-equipped offices in an easily accessible yet tranquil, rural setting. For larger projects Banks Geoscience works with experienced associates to provide our clients with a comprehensive and very flexible service.

In addition to consultancy services Banks Geoscience has close links with the Manchester University and can offer a variety of training courses in the fields of geology, geophysics, petroleum technology and computing. These can be customised to meet each client's individual needs.
